All vehicle rentals are governed by a comprehensive Rental Agreement, which will be provided at the time of booking confirmation or when you collect your vehicle. This agreement outlines specific terms, conditions, insurance information, fees, and your responsibilities regarding the rental. In case of any discrepancies between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will be the authoritative document.
Eligibility Criteria
Renting a vehicle requires:

A valid, full driving licence for the vehicle category is required, held for the duration outlined in the Rental Agreement. Booking and Payment Details

7. Restricted Activities
Prohibited Vehicle Uses
- Use of the vehicle for any unlawful activities is prohibited. This includes racing, rallying, off-roading, or engaging in other risky behaviors. Transporting hazardous materials or sub-letting the vehicle to unauthorized individuals is not allowed. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly forbidden. Additionally, using the vehicle for purposes it was not intended for, exceeding passenger or weight restrictions, or driving beyond the agreed geographical boundaries without authorization is not permitted.
Breach of these terms may lead to rental termination and extra fees.
Liability Restrictions
To the fullest extent allowed by English and Welsh law, Car Hire Bishop Auckland is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business, resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the rental in the prior 12 months. This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury due to negligence, or for fraudulent actions.
Bishop Auckland Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in England and Wales.
